Veolia Hong Kong joined millions of citizens
to support the World Clean Up Day
In collaboration with Green Earth, a local green NGO, over 25 volunteers from Veolia Hong Kong removed debris from natural environments, joining millions of citizens in collective action to combat mismanaged solid waste.
In just 2.5 hours, we collected over 30 kg of solid waste along the 3.5 km Lung Fu Shan morning trail on Hong Kong Island. The waste included food packaging, tissue paper, plastic bottles, cans, and construction debris, some of which have been there for years.
This event serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to preserve a clean and healthy environment, going beyond just a day of action.
Through different activities, we aim to promote a proactive lifestyle for our colleagues to appreciate and protect nature.
