Veolia echoed Earth Day to organise Tree Planting Day
On this year's Earth Day (22 April 2023) ,Veolia and The Green Earth joined forces to support the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department's Country Parks Plantation Enrichment Programme by organising the Annual Tree Planting event.
Thanks to our staff members' hard work and dedication, 80 saplings of local species were planted in the Yuen Tun Country Trail, Tsuen Wan. Not only will these trees beautify our country parks, but they also serve the purpose of enriching the biodiversity of our woodlands and providing a habitat for wildlife.
Only with the support of our volunteers, who contributed their time and energy, and The Green Earth, who organised the event for us, could the event be successfully launched.
